First Year

For students starting with Math 104 or placement to higher level math.

Fall Semester:

  • Quest I paired with WBIS 188 or Comm 111 (3+3crs.)
  • Math 104 College Algebra (3crs.)
  • Chemistry 105 General Chem I (NS) (5crs.)
  • Explore Course (Interim) (3crs.)

Total: 17 credits max

Spring Semester:

  • Quest II concurrent with WBIS 188 or Comm 111(3+3crs.)
  • Chemistry 106 General Chemistry II (NS) (5crs.)
  • Biology 105 Unity (NS) (4crs.)
  • Explore Course (Interim) (3crs.)

Total: 18 credits max

For students testing to remedial Math 103.

Fall Semester:

  • Quest I paired with WBIS 188 or Comm 111 (3+3crs.)
  • Math 103 Intermediate Algebra (3crs.)
  • Biology 105 Unity (NS) (4crs.)
  • Explore Course (Interim) (3crs.)

Total: 16 credits

Spring Semester:

  • Quest II concurrent with WBIS 188 or Comm 111 (3+3crs.)
  • Math 104 College Algebra (3crs.)
  • Chemistry 105 General Chem I (NS) (5crs.)
  • Explore Course (Interim) (3crs.)

Total: 17 credits

  • Students interested in post graduate professional school admission are responsible for learning the requirements specific to the school to which they plan to apply. Some of these programs will require Physics work not called for in the major. Admission is competitive. GPA is important.
  • Students are encouraged to become members of the Pre Health Professionals Organization (PHPO) student group.
  • 120 credits are required for graduation.
